Getting Ready for the next Match

The Indonesian national football team was beaten 0-3 by the Malaysian team during the first leg of the Final Round of the AFF-Suzuki Cup in Kuala Lumpur last night.

During the first 45 minutes of the match, both teams have been playing quite balanced, therefore no goal was made.

In the next 45 minutes, the matched was stopped for awhile after our team's goal keeper Markus Horison protested against the frequent use of laser beams that struck his eyes thus obstructed his sightings. But after five minutes the match was resumed.

Our national players became discouraged and unfocused after the Malaysian players made their first goal, followed by second and third goals.

In my opinion, our team lose the match because the players do not play as good as they used to be, and the Malaysian team has played very well.

In spite of the above, I believe that our team still has a chance to become champion if it can get more than three goals in the second leg of the Final Round which will be held in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Why ? Because the players will be playing in front of more than 80,000 supporters and on the same old ground where they have beaten the same Malaysian team 5 - 1 few weeks ago.

Let us hope that our team will learn from their mistakes and do a lot much better this time.

Well, good luck to Indonesian team on the next match, Harry. Who knows your guys will still have a chance to beat Malaysia... next year. Heheheh.. kidding..:)

The Indonesian squad did very well in this championship. They deserve real compliments for their achievements, whether they become champions or not.

This time they unfortunately met with a lucky ( and good)Malaysian team and laser-pens ( this fact seems to be a real twitter hype).

Yet I think they may settle the scores on Wednesday. It will not be easy, but like you said with 80.000 fans in the stadium.. The common cliché is that the home team hasn't eleven but twelve players.

So it may not be likely, but it is at least possible to win with a difference of three goals or more.

what a valuable lesson.. indonesian team screwed up themselves with unnecessary activities outside the ball match. the 0-3 shakedown should be the point of return to focus again..

There is a lot to be said for home field advantage. Anything can happen. Lets hope the team can learn from their defeat and win the next match.

Thank you for wishing that our team will beat Malaysia in the next match which will be held on Wednesday.
Happy new year to you too.

Although we are dissapointed with the use of laser beams to distract our players, but we have to admit that our team played very bad, and Malaysia very good. Therefore if they want to win, they have to improve their performance and be more relaxed.

You are very right! Non footbal activities like visits to Aburizal Bakrie, Istigozah prayer, etc. have made players very exhausted.

Thank you very much for your wish to our team.

Yes we must give continuous support to our national team so that they can become champion.

Saya sependapat, mas. Bangsa kita bangsa besar bukan pecundang, team kita harus maju terus pantang mundur. Semoga mereka menang!

@Wisata Murah,
Dalam olah raga kalah menang itu biasa. Tapi semua langkah yang diambil dalam olah raga harus didasarkan pada rasa percaya diri, persiapan matang dan ambisi untuk menang.

Our team has gone through lots of non football activities that they were too exhausted when they play.
Let's hope they'll become the champion.

Hey, that's a good idea! Let's hope our team will win.

Hi Harry and lots of seasons greetings to you. When you ride the crest of the wave beware of rocks. Indonesia demand for success may have led the players to believe that they are invincible.
I just hope that they win the second leg as they deserve the win that they have been buildings
