I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith
And I was around when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

Halloween is not our tradition, why should we care..?

Though Halloween is a typical American phenomenon and has no meaning for me, you did positively amaze me with this post which contains the lyrics of this fascinating oldie by the Rolling Stones.

But what is connection between Halloween and the devil?

@Seiri,
Halloween is just an event where some people enjoy themselves by wearing scary costumes, watching scary movies.
Like any other events, others may not like or even hate it.
I posted about it because many people in Indonesia are enjoying the event, for example TVs are showing scary movies.
And I like horror movies/stories, that's all my friend.

@Julicavero,
I agree that halloween is not important, it's just an event where some people have fun.

@Tukangpoto,
Yes it is not our tradition so we don't have to care about it.
But as long as the laws are not violated and the authority never forbid it, people may celebrate it.

@Colson,
Please correct me if I am wrong :
Halloween is a night where people are enjoying themselves in scary activities related to the devil : wearing costumes that looks like devil, watching scary movies, telling scary stories, showing scary looking pumpkins.

@Nensa,
I agree with you, halloween is just an event where certain people are having fun by using/wearing scary stuffs.

@Sawali,
Saya juga tidak mengerti apa arti tepatnya halloween.
Hanya kebetulan saya suka cerita horor maka saya senang melihat orang yang merayakan halloween

Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc, are events maintained as excuse for holding public celebrations. Sure, there are histories behind their origins, but they don't hurt the business people as well.

@Penterjemah Bahasa Jepang/Inggris,
It depends on how you see it.
For me Halloween is only an event for some to have fun, just like Valentine.
Especially that TV stations are showing scary movies or programs,
so do restaurants/cafe/discos.
If people don't like it, they are free to say it.

@Ismail/Passionate Blogger,
I fully agree with you. Halloween is just an excuse for holding celebration, and should have to be related to histories. Simply just for fun.
