Harry, as I posted here here , I can't trace any organisations collecting public donations from Indonesia. What the government has given is minimal considering the help given Indonesia after the Aceh Tsunami.

Haiti will need not only emergency help, but ongoing assistance to rebuild the country's infastructure and its economy.Help on a proportional scale to that of europe after WW2.

Kiwi Riverman,

Yes the international community should provide help to Haiti like when the tsunami struck in 2004 killing more than 220,000 people including more than 170,000 in Aceh.
