Endangered Sumatera Tigers

In this video image, Sumatran tiger cubs played with a leaf in Bukit Tigapuluh National Park on Sumatra island, Indonesia. 

The Sumatera Tigers are on the brink of extinction because of destruction of forests, poaching and clashes with humans.

According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), which placed video cameras at Bukit Tigapuluh National Park in the Provinces of Riau and Jambi, the number of Sumatera Tigers have decreased from 1,000 in the 1970s to only around 400 today.

It seemed that their numbers will be decreasing again, because a pulp and paper manufacturer i.e. Asia Pulp and Paper (APP), has plans to clear large areas of the forest.

    Never did I, or never will I see the news(media) saying we are being successful and are increasing the number of tigers!More Action must be taken!
    In this case, the govt must stop APP to create any sort of cleanup in the forest!
    Wish to see a positive result!!

    Apabila pabrik kertas & pulp APP dibiarkan menebang hutan disekitarnya
    maka jumlah tsb akan berkurang lagi.

    suatu hari nanti anak cucu kita tinggal tahu harimau sumatera melalui buku cerita karena mereka sudah punah semoga tidak terjadi hal seperti itu
