    Happy Eid Ul Fitri in return.

    By the way my Muslim compatriots call it "Suikerfeest" (= sugar-fest) over here. I've know idea why.

    I wish you all the best in the world, peace and hapiness. I'm not a muslim, i dont't know much about this fest, but i remember when i was a child, my neighbour brought to me a lot of sweets with this ocasion and i was very glad.

    Suikerfeest (sugar fest) sounds good to me. Thank you.

    @Margot,
    The sweets may perhaps originated from Dates i.e. dried fruit in the Middle East usually serve during Eid.
