Miyabi & Her Protesters

In recent weeks, the media have reported about the Japanese porn star Maria Ozawa a.k.a Miyabi and her plan to play in an Indonesian Comedy movie titled Menculik Miyabi (Kidnapping Miyabi).

Although the producer and director of the movie have stated that the movie will be free from any porn flick, however certain people have protested the plan to make the movie.

The interesting thing is that in spite of all the protests, Miyabi's porn movie have been and still circulating quite freely for some time especially in Jakarta. One can easily find and buy any of Miyabi's DVD at Jakarta's Glodok shopping area, all of which have been going on for some time and only disappear if there is a raid by the Police. However, the public has never complaint openly about them.

As a matter of fact, all the protests have raised the popularity of Miyaby and her porn movie that the sales of DVDs and their prices have increased.

Considering the above, I hope that there is no intentional connection between the protests and the rise in popularity of Miyabi's movies including her Indonesian movie. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
