World Gymanstics Body Suspends Indonesia

The International Gynastics Federation (FIG) suspends Indonesia and 10 other countries from international Gymnastics competitions for failing to pay fees to the sport's ruling body.

The Washington Post reported that FIG bared Indonesia, Cyprus, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Macau, Syria, Macedonia, Paraguay, Seychelles, Tajikistan, and Yemen from organizing or competing in international events, and contacting other national federations.

FIG shall reinstate the statuses of those countries after they settled those fees.

I hope that the national gymnastics authority in Indonesia can clarify this matter.

    Well, it's sad if the Indonesian organizations failed to pay the money in due time. But if it actually systematically has failed to do so, it isn't surprising the WGB's reacts by these sanctions.

    If the Gymnastics organization does not pay the fees they will not be allowed to organize,compete in international competitions.

    Mudah2an tidak disengaja, hanya karena terlewat saja.

    No matter what, the fees should be settled soon, the South East Asia Games will be held in Palembang this year.

    doh, repo juga kalau dah persiapan matang2 harus berkompetisi. setuju, mas harry. para petinggi senam indonesia perlu secepatnya melakukan klarifikasi agar tidak simpang siur.
